Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit posadasmendoza.com or send us an inquiry, what we use it for, who we share it with and what rights you have over it.

We use your data to reply to you, manage your booking and improve the site. By using the site or sending us your data, you agree to its processing as described in this policy.

Who we are

The party responsible for your data is Posadas Entre Piedras (“we”, “us”), located in La Crucecita, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. This policy applies to the website www.posadasmendoza.com (“the site”) and to the inquiries and bookings we receive through it, via WhatsApp or by email.

The processing of your data is governed by Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326.

What data we collect

Data you give us. When you fill in the contact form or write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive:

If you make a booking, we will also ask for the details needed to manage it and register your stay.

Usage data. When you browse the site, data such as your device’s IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language, the pages you visit, the time you spend on them, the page you came from and the date and time of your visit are collected automatically.

The site has no user accounts and does not receive card details or any other payment information.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The site does not set cookies of its own. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to learn how many people visit us, how they find us and which sections interest them. Google Analytics stores persistent cookies in your browser (_ga and _ga_*) that identify it with a random code and last up to two years. We also record, without any personal data, when the contact form is sent and which lodge the inquiry is about.

The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same without them. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How we use your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Who we share your data with

International transfers

Some of these providers, such as Google or our website host, store data on servers outside Argentina, for example in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country. We work with providers that apply appropriate security measures. By sending us your data, you agree to that transfer.

How long we keep your data

We keep your inquiries and booking details for as long as we need them to handle them and, afterwards, for as long as our legal and tax obligations or the resolution of a claim require.

The usage data collected by Google Analytics is kept for a limited period, and we only see it as statistics that do not identify anyone.

Security

We protect your data with reasonable measures: the site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and only the people who run the lodges can access inquiries. Even so, no method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, and to stop sending you news. Write to us using any of the contact details below: we answer access requests within 10 calendar days and correction or deletion requests within 5 business days, as required by law.

Please note that we may keep some data when required to do so by law.

The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as provided in Article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory authority under Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed by anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of the rules on personal data protection.

Links to other websites

The site contains links to websites we do not operate, such as social networks, WhatsApp, Google Maps, and local wineries and service providers. We have no control over their content or privacy practices, so we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with its “Last updated” date and, if the change is significant, we will announce it on the site before it takes effect. We recommend that you review it periodically.
